Light weight, great drape

I purchased this yarn to make a lighter weight sweater for a toddler with sensitive skin. This yarn has crocheted up really nicely. With my 5mm hook, the drape is lovely. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is over how it splits. Natural fiber yarns tend to split, but I’ve used plenty that have split easier than this. I’d like to knit myself a camisole with this next.

Great yarn to work with. Made some really cute coasters and looking forward to using this on other projects. A great yarn for cotton/linen projects.

pretty good!

texture's pretty nice and silky, and feels really nice if it's you're first time working it, but it unravels pretty fast, and once it does it can be hard to get between threads without pulling them out. Colors are pretty, but cypress was a lot closer to black than it is to green

Scratchy and stiff

I would not buy again and probably won't use any more of the five skeins I purchased for any crochet projects. It is very scratchy and not pleasant to work with, it's almost like twine. I purchased five skeins to make wall hangings. The pima cotton worked out much better for my project.

Hi Rita - we're sorry that this yarn isn't to your liking! We do highly recommend blocking this yarn and items made from it (including gauge swatches and finished items), as linen will get softer with each wash and wear.
