I have made many of these pocket prayer cloths.We make them along with prayer shawls for our church Shawl Ministry. We put them out in a basket at the narthex at church for anyone to take. The young children especially like them. We have notices in the bulletin what they are and how people can use them. They are a hit.
I have used the original pattern with a cross but have also revised it with a more distinct cross and also one making the cross form with popcorn stitch. Variation is nice.
We also make baby blanket for each child to be baptized.
