This yarn is nice and soft.. I used it for making hats for the homeless. My hats were extra warm with the stitch I used. The pattern I wrote worked so well with this yarn. My Hats of Love along with this Lions yarns is covering several cold heads this winter..
Absolutely love this yarn! So soft and the tweed effect is perfect! Made a couple of shawls with this and the recipients love it as well. Here's an in progress picture.
I used this yarn for my Party Cardigan from Make and Do Crew. It turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. I also made a granny stitch shrug with it and get compliments every time I wear it out.
There are so many things I love about this yarn. The colors are absolutely stunning. It’s machine washable and dryable. And it’s wonderfully soft. I can think of a million ways to use it. And everyone loves my finished makes! Win, win! I’m so sad that it has been discontinued.
I love crocheting with Lion Brand Mandala Tweed. I love the colour. I’ve made one double yarn blanket, which is great for cold winter nights in the Scottish Highlands. So I’m doing another for my sister.
I really enjoy knitting with Mandala Tweeds. The texture is consistent and the colors transition well. This is White Elephant.
