I will never again buy a kit without being able to see the pattern first. It was awful. The pattern was for a blanket crocheted diagonally, with awful instructions on how to fix concave/convex sides. I’m not super experienced with blankets -have made a few, but none crocheted diagonally. After 3 tries I gave up on the pattern and made up my own. Used the 2 cakes to make 2 identical lap blankets to donate to a hospice facility. I would consider buying the yarn, but never pay extra for a kit again. The yarn is soft, light, and easy to work with.
I loved working with this yarn. The colors are beautiful and it’s very soft. I will work with it again for sure.
My first attempt at The Amelia Blanket (I Can Crochet That). These yarns work up perfectly together, love the combination of the self-striping and the solid color. Quality is consistent, no knots or joins (so far!)
I bought a few of these awhile back, and finally a few months ago, decided to make a blanket with them. I don't have too much progress on it, but I just love how the colorway is going. I bought the colorway Gnome.
I’m becoming more and more of a yarn snob, so I don’t love working with acrylic. However, this yarn is perfect for what it is: beautiful color changes in an easy-care, affordable cake. I’m making a blanket for my upcoming baby, and it’s turning out lovely.
Worked out perfect for granddaughter’s Fairy Dress!
