We’re combining two of our favorite things with this limited edition yarn: spectacular savings and a good mystery! You select your color family and we’ll send you a shade that falls into that color group (see photos for examples of color variety, please note, not all variations are represented). Sound fun? We think so! Get creative with tonal scrap-style blankets and sweaters, or whip up small 1-ball projects like hats and mitts. Stitching for a cause? This yarn makes great charity and gift-giving projects. The 100% acrylic content allows for it to be completely machine washable and dryable. And the CYC4 worsted weight suits many patterns for all ages. Each 100 gram ball is 186 yards.
*Please note Limited Edition Premium and Select yarns are the same weight and yardage, however, the Select option has a slight sheen that is not present in the Premium version.

This is the first time I’ve ever ordered direct from lion brand as I usually purchase in store. The description led me to believe I would receive some colour variations between the balls, but I received all the same colour. The yarn itself feels like a rough cotton yarn that makes it unsuitable for any type of garment. I would return this order if shipping costs weren’t an issue so I’ll likely donate it and hope someone craftier than me can figure out a use for this infortunate purchase. In the future I will only be ordering items I’ve seen and felt in person.

We could not guarantee that the same shade within a color range would be shipped, therefore we stated there may be variations, but in many orders this wasn't the case.
This yarn has a nice texture which was perfect for making beards on my Christmas gnome ornaments. The colors neutrals and grays worked well against the contrasting hat colors. This yarn was easy to work with and I would use it again.
I did not know what to expect with this yarn and was trying to decide what to use it for. I have a wedding coming up soon and decided to make the couple a set of pillows. I am happy with the result and hope they will be too!
I am very pleased with my purchase of Limited Edition Select yarn. I received this beautiful silver grey (attached photo) from the "greys" category, and it is working up exceptionally well with great definition and no splitting. I ordered equal number from the neutrals group and received a nice glossy white which will be perfect for the "Study of Snow" throw.
Like others I was sorely disappointed with what I received. Of course I understood I would get a shade selected in the color group of choice, which for me was neutrals. HOWEVER...all six of the balls were WHITE! HOW BORING IS THAT? I could have just gone to a store to buy all white. I don't think I will ever do this again. I was hoping for some shade of tan/beige. How can you consciously send two three packs BOTH WHITE? The yarn may be nice but the thrill was to get a surprise color.

I was under the impression that I would recieve various shades of yellows. Instead I received tan. Every single skien is tan. Not at all what I wanted.
