Wura is a beginner friendly tee that is worked seamlessly and top-down in the round. The textured short sleeves are worked with the yoke, so no picking up stitches. The sleeves and lower body are adorned with a subtle, yet classy diamond moss texture. Wura [woo-rah] means 'gold' in Nigerian Yoruba language.

Very happy with the way my tee is looking. Easy knitting in the round from neck down. Just about finished.
This tee pattern is easy to read and Pima Cotton yarn in Dragonfly is so pretty and soft. Can't wait to finish it and make another Wura Tee in another color.
I have attempted several times to knit my adult daughter a sweater but the fit is NEVER correct. She is between a R 16 and W 16 with a 47" bust measurement. Lanre Ojikutu has taken the guess and the math out of this pattern. I know just how and when to try on so that the bust is roomy enough and I am able to measure not only by inches but also by counting rows. I consider myself an intermediate knitter but even though this pattern is written for beginners, it kept my interest. I know my daughter will love this sweater - she will be able to dress it up or feel comfortable to wear it with jeans. I will definitely be looking for more of Lanre's designs.
I'm enjoying knitting this sweater. The pattern has many options and is easy to follow. I might even try it using only stockinette stitch.
