Hi, I’m Trista! I’ve been crocheting since 2011 and I learned how to knit a few years later. I am a wife and a mom to 4 children. Art has been part of my life since I was a child. Initially I began crocheting so that I could make things for my oldest son, but it turned into more than just a hobby; it quickly became a passion that has been with me through all sorts of ups and downs. My inspiration comes from many places; nature, meaningful life experiences, and sometimes just beautiful simplicity. I especially enjoy blanket designs. You can often find me hanging in the living room or the deck, on a nice day, working on one of my many projects with a hot cup of coffee or tea by my side.

I love this pattern and this blanket. The pattern is easy to follow. My only suggestion is to add markers in between the different cable patterns. This elegant blanket makes a great gift for someone.
