Very confusing instructions

Love the look of this sweater and the stitch is easy however the instructions are very confusing. I received one correction but the instructions for one side panel calls for double the stitches that are on the holder. The pickup around the neck is very confusing. I emailed the designer but no response...

A Lovely Kit

I am enjoying this kit very much. It is my first sweater and the pattern is written very clearly. I love the color and the Vanna's Choice yarn is a favorite of mine.

Old school knit flat in pieces pattern

Knit flat pattern similar to an older Dropps pattern my grandmother used.
There is some “assumed knowledge” required.No explanation on certain things (like an older pattern from the 70s). Other than that- it’s cute. Quick. Knit flat then sewed together in pieces. That should have been stated. The yarn is decent.
