A scarf that doubles as a wrap? That triples as a sweater? Yup. Count me in. The Snowfall Sweater Scarf is a cozy scarf with sleeves that is adorned with a dotted purl texture that changes in density from the cuffs, to the center – much like a snowfall. Wrap it around your neck like a normal scarf, insert your arms into the cuffs and pull down the section around your neck. Voila, you have the coziest little wrap you’ve ever seen. Pair it with a tee and some ripped jeans for a cozy campfire with the gals, or drape it around your shoulders on top of a little black dress for date night, this piece is perfect for all occasions.
Knit in stockinette flat on size US 10.5/6.5mm needles blocked 13 sts x 19 rows = 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm)
Knit in ribbing flat on size US 8/5mm needles (not stretched) 24 sts x 20 rows = 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm)
Size XS-M fits bust sizes 28-38” (71-96cm), L-2X fits bust sizes 40-50” (101-127cm), and 3X-5X fits bust sizes 52-62” (132-157cm)

The Snowfall Sweater Scarf was my first venture into garment making and my first time purchasing a kit from Lion Brand. Chantal Miyagishima (Knitatude) is an excellent pattern writer whose directions are clear, concise, and easy-to-follow. It doesn't feel like a foreign language when you're reading the pattern nor do you feel lost wondering how one direction leads into another step in the process. It's a project that empowers you as a knitter! Many people have complimented me on the snowfall sweater scarf because of its elegance. This kit was such a positive experience that I have already purchased another pattern by Knititude as well as more supplies to make another sweater scarf. I appreciate that Lion Brand offers the kits to be a "one stop shop" when selecting items/purchasing.
First of all, the linen colour is spot on what I expected and I can’t wait to use it! Yarn is super soft!
I’m currently knitting the cable version of this pattern for myself in the Antler colour and will be knitting this version in Linen for my bridesmaids for my fall wedding! It’ll be great for the wedding and the photos but also great for us to keep as a souvenir and wear anytime with different outfits! Linen is a good neutral colour and we haven’t picked the colours for our wedding yet so it should match with everything!
