Fun Pattern

This was a really fun, quick, interesting project with just enough challenge for this newby knitter! I was a little intimidated by the Icord but it came out great. My only suggestion is that I had to read the directions for the hood casing several times before I figured out where to start the PUK but I’m sure a more experienced knitter would breeze thru it. This ALMOST makes me wish I lived in a colder climate! :)

The yarn and the pattern make this fantasy of balaclava. TOW is the best!!

This pattern is just perfect. I love the “idea” of a balaclava, but don’t like the tight, whole head look or fit. This is just perfect for cold, windy weather but can be easily lowered when the extra warmth isn’t needed. It covers the neck to keep the cold out and the drawstring keeps the wind off your head without making you look like a ninja warrior. The pattern is incredibly simple and works up so quickly. I definitely will be gifting these to all my sisters and friends.

High Seas Balaclava

Love the pattern design. Easy and quick project. Will definitely make it again.
But the Hue + Me- 617 is not as soft as I would prefer, so will use different yarn going forward.
Thanks LB for all of your offerings!
