Fall Horizons Throw

Fun, easy to to remember pattern. Knit up quick. Love Mama in a Stitch patterns. Beautiful colors.

I made the Fall Horizons throw in the palette as suggested by the designer. Colors are more muted in natural light than in the web photo, and the combination is attractive with almost any decor. Yarn is soft and works up easily. Once you get the hang of the simple four-row repeat pattern, this is a great project to curl up with and watch a movie! While it's lovely on either side, you'll see a definite front and back side of the throw. Be sure you start each new color from the same edge for best results, so that you have a clean, distinct edge for the start of each new color on the front side -- put the two-color garter ridge on the back side. Relax and enjoy making this simple throw.

I have always loved this stitch. It looks particularly lively in bulky yarn. All of the colors in the kit are beautiful and they go so well together.

I love "Mama in a Stitch"

Like all of her patterns, this one is knitting up beautifully. I never would have thought I could create this, but her patterns are always written very clearly and make me feel confident in my abilities. Her chosen colors are also not something I would necessarily choose, but I am so glad I did. This is a winner, and I am already planning on knitting a second one for a friend.
