Cute Li’l Tote!

This was a fun, fast project! Yarn arrived quickly and pattern was easily downloaded. I chose to work in the round on circular needles and used a 3-needle bind-off to avoid any seams. I lined the bag with a heavy duty cotton fabric and voila! Don’t know what I’m going to tote in it but it’ll be adorably taken along. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that the yarn weight and needle size was hard on my arthritic hands. 🧶 😊

Really cute, easy pattern. I knit the tote in the round with 2 skeins gray marble using #13 circs. I was able to make tote longer and still had enough yarn to knit a smaller bag for cards and change. I didn't line it. I plan on getting a lot of use out of it.

A nice knit - easy beginner cable and adaptable

I like this pattern for its adaptability. I've made it both wider and longer, and in other weights of yarn, and have always been happy with the result. It does work best lined and I have done variations on the handle - sometimes using a piece of the same fabric as the lining to make them. It would be an easy beginner cable pattern to try. They make unique gifts.

Happy with this yarn, really like the offset cable design. Ordered it in Bluegrass for a gift and Oatmeal for myself. Really quick to work up.

Fell on love with this tote.

This chunky cable tote is so cute. I have just started the project and so far it's a challenge. The pattern is simple to read, but I'm out of practice working cables. Looking forward to the finish.
