Cropped, with a batwing-esque design, this pattern is a bottom-up sweater that has plenty of ease to cuddle up in. Tighter at the bottom, it gradually increases through the torso with roughly 10-27" of positive ease at the widest part (different sizes have different amounts of ease due to them all landing at an elbow-to-elbow wingspan), giving a super roomy and boxy like shape. But the real stunners of this piece are the cables that adorn both the front and back, and the oversized hoodie that’s matched perfectly with a rounded top and an icord drawstring.

I really liked making this pattern and it was my first time making a hoodie. The pattern is very detailed and it would work for someone who doesn't have a ton of experience cabling. I loved the cropped look and the batwings. I wasn't interested at first but decided to get it since I purchased the joggers kit--I'm very glad that I got it. I love using Woolease--I was able to wash and dry without any issues (it felt like a cloud after I took it out the dryer. I did have an issue with the pattern (there was an error with the hood section) and after some back and forth confusion, LB sent me an updated pattern. I recommend this unique hoodie kit.
My first of many knits of Chantals patterns! Super cute hoodie and easy pattern. I loved knitting with wool ease, lovely light yarm but warm. Great idea to be able to purchase kits!
I appreciate that the pattern had instructions on how to adjust the length. I turned mine into a regular length hoodie instead of cropped, and it turned out great! I also like that there was minimal construction required because each piece was picked up off of the existing work. There was a typo in the pattern I downloaded from Lionbrand, but the designer quickly sent me the corrected version!
This is my favorite pattern designer and this pattern does NOT disappoint!! It is so beautiful the yarn is so soft and warm. I will be order more yarn another hoodie in a different color!
