I am a new knitter but I've been crocheting for years. I bought the set and love everything about it. The pattern is simple and creates a beautiful blanket. I would highly recommend this to any level knitter.
I was looking for a pattern that would provide extra warmth and this is just perfect. Love that the reverse side is just as pretty as the front. The pattern easy to follow and works up quickly. Very happy with this selection!

I love this pattern! I am a long time crocheter but brand new knitter (thanks to inspiration from the Mama in a Stitch website) and I found the pattern very easy to follow. At first I was nervous because I couldn’t see the vertical lines showing up that much in spite of the fact that all my stitch counts were correct. But the more rows I completed the stronger the diamond patterns began to emerge and the throw is really beautiful so far. I am about a third of the way through the project and can’t wait to finish it. I am using the color Bellini. As far as the Hue and Me yarn goes I am just not a huge fan. I crocheted a sweater with it in the past and I felt the same about it then. But that is just personal preference.
The quilted blanket knit kit included 10 skeins of Hue & Me yarn, a complimentary drawstring bag and knit pattern. I got 50% off of 5 skeins. The only thing that didn't meet my expectation was the shade of pink in rose water yarn. I thought it was baby pink but in reality, it was salmon pink. Also, I wished the yarn was a little less pricey.
