Knit Kit - 1974

SKU: B71961

I designed 1974 to celebrate all things retro while still serving as that timeless piece in your wardrobe with a simple silhouette and classic stripes. The colors I chose for my sample brown, yellow, orange and red—give me alllll the vintage vibes and have been some of my favorites for as long as I can remember. But you might be more of a pink person or go gaga for greens. Do your thing! Let this pattern serve as a blank slate for your perfect palette. Maybe you’ll discover the color combo you pick screams 1984, 1994 or even 2004—you really can’t go wrong with whatever you decide!

Excellent sweater!

I used arrowwood for my main color, and forest heather, koi, and umber for my stripes. Her directions are very easy to follow , and she even links you to her you tube explanations so you can see how she does it. This includes how not to have that little jog when changing colors in the round. I didn't know you could prevent that! Anyhow, it is quick, it is easy and a nice cozy one to wear when it's chilly. I enjoyed making mine; I'm sure you will too.
