Jiffy Beauty

I bought two of the Jiffy Bonus Bundles in AERO (color). It appears to be a soft grey, similar to the grey of an overcast day in Oregon. The yarn itself is very soft feeling with a sort of a fluffy aura that appears like a natural wool fiber. It is machine washable but needs to be dried flat. I wasn't sure when I bought it what exactly I would make with it. But after spending a few moments with it, decided on a mid-thigh length sweater. I have a sweater that I have loved to death but is in need of replacement. About the same time as my purchase, I started experimenting in Tunisian crochet. I am so happy that I decided to use this yarn in making my sweater and using that technique. While it is not finished, it is making up very beautifully with this lovely neutral color that shows off the pattern of stitches, forming vertical stripes. I am looking forward to trying another color also. Love it .

Bought as Metro Granny Square Jacket Kit

First of all, I was impressed that the pattern caught the eye of my 17 yr. old granddaughter. I'm making it for her for Christmas. The instructions are easy to follow, but I was a little confused by the design of the multi-color squares. They don't look like a typical granny square and change color in the middle of a round (see picture). Guess that's what makes them "metro". As for the yarn, the skein is huge! - 681 yds. I was able to get true to gauge which rarely happens for me. However, there are 4 different colors, and each color has a different texture even though they are all the same Jiffy Bonus bundle. The Aero colorway has a very fuzzy texture and looks thinner than the others. Cream colorway has very little fuzziness at all and is very thin. Deep Indigo is very fuzzy and very thick. Coastal seems to be perfect. With all these varying textures, I am surprised to consistently get 4 inch squares. As these yarns are acrylic and super fuzzy, I am very concerned about extreme pilling over time and washes. That is yet to be seen. Be aware.

Nice yarn, good yardage

I head up my church's prayer shawl ministry. I was looking for bulky yarn with the yardage I needed for one shawl. This yarn fit the bill! It knits up beautifully.

Wonderful yarn

Making a blanket. This yarn is perfect. Blocks and hold shape. Sample shown is prior to blocking. Very soft. Ordered more in different colors.

Patchwork jacket

I’m working on this at the moment. What caught my eye was the uniqueness of the pattern in the different colours and shapes/stitches used in each patch. Wool is lovely to knit with- it’s soft and has a nice fluffy texture. Would recommend.

LOVE JIFFY!!

Jiffy is my FAVE yarn to work with, but your website colors are quite off - I keep buying "blue" colors, but when the yarn gets to me, it's gray. Maybe try & get the website colors closer to what they really are...?? That would be helpful!! ;)
