I prefer natural yarn, but felt that it did not matter as much for making a basket. The yarn is soft and has a nice sheen, but one has to pay attention working with it. For me, it tends to split since it does not have a lot of twist. It is a bit pricy for the length given, unless you buy it on sale. Note that some colors (prints) have a shorter length, and it's not that easy to understand which ones are the prints. I would appreciate a better distinction in the description. All said, I'm very happy with my baskets, but had to use a smaller size needles to accomplish the firmness needed for the pattern.
This yarn is very soft and works up quickly. However, it also splits easily and sheds a lot. Do not wear black pants like I did when working with the white yarn.
Made a puppy lovey for a baby shower gift and am very happy with Lion Brand products. Reliable and lovely.
Really enjoying knitting with this yarn. It's smooth, soft, doesn't split, and great colors.
So soft and easy to work with. I used it for a blanket and have enough left over to make a hat or two. I’m a beginner and used it for my first ever blanket.
I used San Diego Navy. So easy to work with, never tangled, and I love the color and texture. My favorite yarn so far!
