HiyaHiya Stainless Steel Circular Needles 24" (Sizes 0 to 15)
SKU: NH-NH253
Made of high quality stainless steel, HiyaHiya Steel Circular Needles have a slick but not too slick, smooth finish, flexible cables and near perfect joins. They are lightweight to handle and will warm quickly to the hand.
24-inch Circular Needle tips are approximately 5.25 inches long.
I learned on bamboo needles so usually I don't venture into using aluminum/metal needles because I typically notice a change in my tension. A pattern called for Hiya Hiya Stainless Steel needles so I thought I would try because I wanted to follow the pattern to the best of my ability. I purchased the needles and after a few rounds, I found myself enjoying them. They are a well made product and I knit faster as well. I appreciate that the yarn does not catch on the join which exists between needles/cable. They are fun needles to knit with!
Love them, nice to knit with
I own a kit of high-end wooden interchangeable tips/cables but decided to purchase these Hiya Needles because sometimes I just like the slickness of the yarn sliding off the metal. Hiya needles seem to be a great option.
The needles on this circular are longer then I like, but the quality is there. I have not used them as yet as I purchased the wrong length for the project I started.
I really have enjoyed using these needles. They are easy to work with and last a long time.
This is the first non-wood needle I have purchased and I only purchased it because it came with a kit. I live remotely and did not want to take the time to drive for more than an hour to find this size needle. I never purchase metal needles because the sound of metal against metal is like nails on a chalkboard to me and my inherited metal needles from my grandmother have this effect on me. This is the first metal needle that does not grate on my ears. I was so relieved when I started using it! Not only was I relieved, but I was impressed with how "fast" the needle is. I am a beginner-to-intermediate knitter and the "fast" needles scare me a little for fear of dropping stitches. I've been very careful with this one for fear of dropping stitches and am delighted with how it knits. I think I would purchase another knitting needle(s) by this company.
