Knits up beautifully, but instructions left a lot to be desired

Lovely soft yarn. I am a very experienced knitter, (70+ years) but this was knew to me and took two attempts to get it almost, but not quite, right. Still, the end result is lovely and I would do it again. First of all, the pattern 'download' did not work smoothly and it took several attempts over a few days before I finally got the instructions. I really don't know why it was so difficult or why the instructions could not have been included in the kit as a print document. I have no trouble with any other download, such as Hooked on Sunshine crochet patterns. Second, the link to the 'how to' knitting instructions did not work, so I was just working in the dark and hoping I got it right: e.g. do I pull the eyelashes through each loop as I complete it, or just leave it half pulled through, which makes for a very thick loop on the needles? The first time I knitted it up, I followed the instructions and ran out of yarn before I got to the neck. I measured the work and it was around 12" too long and 5" too wide. and I am not a loose knitter! OK. I will just cast off early. NO WAY! Unless you are privy to some secret information, casting off does not work and I dropped so many stitches which could not be picked up that I had no option but to pull the whole thing out and start again. The patterns said bind off but did not explain. This time I wrote down every row and stitch count as I went along and ended up with almost a ball left over, which I then used to crotchet around the edges making it firmer. Even maintaining a row count still made the project about 10" too long! Perhaps a smaller needle size would have been better. I would pull it back and try again as it still isn't quite right, but the yarn might be too ragged. My main beef is with being unable to easily download the instructions and inability to access the 'how to knit with eyelash yarn' connection as it might have made the project much easier. I still don't know if I got the actual knitting stitches right.

Wow

Oh wow! This is the softest, squishiest, sheepiest yarn. Can’t wait to make either a shaggy vest or the little rug pattern from Alex Tavel.
I’ve used fur yarn before and this looks a little more defined ( you can see where the yarn base is) though I know it’s a “ crochet by feel “ project. The “ latte” color is a pretty neutral.
Nice work Lion Brand!

Love the color! It's easy to work with and it doesn't leave floofs all over the place which was a concern of mine. I'm almost done with my project and it has worked up so quickly!

Warm and cuddly

Love the softness. Granddaughters all wanted a scarf made from this "kitty soft" yarn. Extra benefit: it works up super quickly

Soft and Squishy

This is the perfect yarn for knitting my yeti face hood! It's super curly and soft, despite being 100% polyester. When knitting it in garter, it makes a fabric that's over an inch thick, but you can use a crochet hook or your fingers to push the furr to the outside if that affects fit too much. Definitely not for beginners, but it does hide mistakes really well!
