So many knots

Ordered 14 skeins of this yarn to make an afghan. The yarn is beautiful, soft, and worked up very nice. But, out of 14 skeins, only 1 did not have a knot in it. Most had 3 or 4, and 4 knots for a 65 yd. skein is too much. I had a lot of waste and a lot of weaving to do on this project. Seems to be a manufacturing issue when the yarn is milled. I do not have this problem with other brands.

Hello Robin - our apologies for the excessive knots! Anytime you come across more than 2 or 3 knots in a ball of Go For Faux, pleas email our quality control team at support@lionbrand.com. Save the yarn labels if you can - we'll need the dye lot information from them.

Lovely finished product, Steep learning curve!

Love the effect the faux fur gives but it is really hard to knit. If you drop a stitch or make any other mistake you can forget about knowing it happened for sure and totally forget about finding and fixing it. But it does get easier with practice to not make mistakes. Bonus: it feels so nice and soft in your hands. Strongly recommend inserting life lines frequently.
