Fun yarn for multiple projects

I bought this because of the Cannes and Athens bag projects and I have to say I love it!
It's the type of yarn I've been looking for as a daughter owns a purse made from this kind of yarn but we couldn't ever find the yarn over the last 7 years, until now.
The texture is stiff but pliable (I started with a resin hook but ultimately switched to a metal hook to complete the project. I'll be trying a wooden hook as well and think it will be fine. Really any hook works with it, I just didn't want a resin hook to be strained.) The project works up quickly- the Cannes bag takes about 1.5 skines and maybe 80-90 minutes including the dreaded sewing.
The wrong side of the stitch makes a beautiful design with this yarn, so the bag will be reversible with a removable liner installed.

Pros: texture and density make for ideal structured projects.
Beautiful colors with a lovely sheen.
Works up showing off stitch definition.
People want my bag. It's mine, make your own. On sale it's a fantastic price.

Cons: the yarn will unravel off the end of the cording, so you need to either be aware of that, use a fabric glue to tack it down. It can also snag, showing the white inner core. Time will tell how durable it is.
This yarn can feel a bit fatiguing to work with due to it's stiffness, but the projects are small enough it's okay even for my compromised hands. (Neuromuscular issues).

Over all I love the results and will be buying more soon.

Love this cording so, so much! It works up so nice, and has a really great weight to it. It’s almost like it has a stretchiness to it without being stretchy.

The Yarn I’ve Been Missing In My life!

I got this for a rug, but ended up making 2 baskets so far with it. It works up so beautifully, with a slight sheen. Flexible, but sturdy. Good replacement for the projects I’ve been buying cotton rope or clothesline for. Just started a throw rug with it but had to order more. Check yardage, the skeins are smaller than expected and does not stretch hardly at all. So pretty though.

shiny and sturdy

I bought this to make some planty things. I really like it! Pros: Pretty, shiny, great stitch definition! Cons: hard on the hands, ends need to be sealed. Overall It has a lot of potential. Would love to see more pattern ideas!

Haven’t decided what to make out of it. I’m thinking crocheted baskets.
