Good yarn for dyeing

I got this yarn for making a wool cloak, and I wanted yarn that I could dye. This has been amazing so far, and has held dye made from avacado pits and skins. I plan to dye it again with black walnuts to make it darker, so I am excited to what happens! The yarn is a little itchy, and I was expecting that as it is wool.

I usually buy form another sign as shipping is cheaper, but there was an amazing sale so I took the opportunity to refill my stock. Pictures of the not-yet-completed cloak

Beautiful wool!

I've had 8 hanks that I keep admiring daily. Wondering what should I do with these. I had almost decided I was going to make something, like a vest or?? Until I found out a sweet friend's favorite color is green. So today I dyed 4 hanks green. I'll finish the others this weekend. When they are all ready I'm going to make a vest for her. She lives in Indiana, so that should be nice for her.
