The Yayoi Bucket Bag has a versatile design perfect for casual to chic outfits. The design features a strong base, drawstring, handles, and a crossbody strap. Despite using basic stitches, this pattern is rated intermediate due to its use of specialty yarn where the crocheter must know how to feel for stitches.
Note: You will also need a 2.10mm crochet hook for the drawstring slider. We've listed an A/B 2.00 mm hook as the closest size currently available on lionbrand.com.
4” = 12 sts x 12 rows of single crochet (4 strands of 24/7 cotton using 5mm crochet hook)
4” = 7 sts x 6 rows of single crochet (Shaggy Chic using a 10mm crochet hook)
4” = 14 sts (for the straps, single crochet of 2 strands of 24/7 cotton using 3.50mm crochet hook)
16” width (top of the bag), approximate circumference open flat is 32”
12” height (base to top of the bag). Add rows of shabby chic to make the bag taller if desired.
