I have never done the waffle stitch in crochet before but I am loving it and the texture it is producing. I have only about 12 inches so far but I can see and feel how the texture of the waffles is going to be great for trapping in warmth for snuggling up this winter! Color theory yarn is working up well without splitting which I have had issues with with a few other varieties of LB yarn Colors are subtle and blend beautifully. I am very happy with this kit!!!
I am in the process of making this blanket for a friend’s baby and it is turning out beautifully! So soft and billowy!

Purchased this kit to make a wedding present for a granddaughter and her man. It's a very easy, 2 row repeat that works up quickly. The Color Theory yarn colors are neutral yet pleasing and calming. The yarn is soft and so far tangle fee, except finding the center end. I like to pull from the center and lately it's been a trial in all my LB skeins. LB lists this yarn as machine washable and dryer friendly, and I expect that to be true now as it always has been. Lovely pattern and yarn. Recommend this kit and yarn for easy crocheting and yarn softness. Will buy Color Theory again.
I am almost done with this blanket and have enjoyed every minute of crocheting it. The instructions are easy to follow and the waffle stitch is beautiful!
