Hi! My name is Wilma and I share free crochet patterns on wilmade.com. I’ve been ‘hooked’ since 2015 and most of my designs are shawls, hats and garments for beginners. My husband and I travel a lot; I especially love visiting the USA. Most of my inspiration comes from traveling around the world and meeting 'extended family’; people with the same rare tumor as me. I’m working on a special series of free patterns dedicated to my extended family and sharing our unique stories with you through crochet!

Love this sweater!!

I'm working on this now, and love the feel of it so far. The Coboo yarn is a bit difficult to work with, but I think I'll be happy with the sweater when I finish it.

Best yarn ever!

I wished I would have found this yarn a long time ago this is the best yarn I've ever used I love the texture the Conformity of it just the way it handles and the sweater pattern that I got is just the most easiest pattern to follow, it's fast it only takes a day to make I love the sweater pattern the (v-neck cardigan) I'll definitely be getting more. Can't wait to make a slouchy hat out of this yarn.

WOW!!!

I was amazed that I could make an absolutely gorgeous cardigan in my size (2X) from 6 balls of yarn! I"ve made other garments by this designer (Wilmade) and every single one fits well and her instructions are clear and easy to follow. Although the finished sweater is beautiful and comfortable, I didn't like working with Coboo -- I found it to be extremely splitty. I also had to make a fairly drastic change in hook size to make gauge . The suggested hook was J/6 mm and I had to go down to G/7/4.5 mm, as I work with very relaxed hands, Overall I loved this pattern and will use it again with a different DK yarn.

Sweater

Actually, I haven't started the sweater yet. I had find someone to print the pattern for me which took some time.

Lovely yarn

I really loved the yarn because of its softness. The instructions of the pattern are not precise. The sides do not match up because the V stitches are in different vertical directions (I had to redo the front panels and stitch them at the shoulders). The pattern says to attach the sleeves to the 2 chain spaces but there are no 2 chain spaces on the vertical sides of the panels. Adding a double crochet at the end of the rows would have made it easier and neater to seam the sides together.

This cardigan crocheted up quickly and the pattern was easy to follow. The end result was a really nice cardigan that looked just like the photo.
