Crochet Kit - Topaz Tee

SKU: B71020

This simple, boxy popover tee is breezy and chic over a swimsuit or a tank top for streetwear. The drapey geometric fabric adds interest while the edging keeps it sophisticated and structured.

The perfect mesh top

This was my first experience with filet crochet and I'm so glad I picked this pattern to learn the technique! It was easy to follow and worked up very quickly. The Coboo yarn took a little time to get used to (splitty and slippery), but the softness, sheen, and drape were well worth the effort. Coboo simply elevates the look of whatever you make with it. The pattern was a little tricky at the shoulders, so pay close attention. Overall, I love how this shirt turned out and have worn it often. I especially love how the edging looks, particularly on the sleeves. Definitely give this one a try!

Chic

I’ve loved this top for a while and finally tried coboo this summer so I’m looking forward to getting this made. The construction is in one piece, which I always find less daunting somehow. I do wish the pattern came in a larger font, there are a million letters and numbers to read and the smaller they are, the harder to follow. A diagram would also be welcome!

Nice Coverup in Warm Weather

I am currently working on it and I am more than halfway finished. The top by the shoulders is a little tricky and I am not sure the pattern is correct but I had to add chains to make the count come out right from 23 to 27 for the small around the opening. So, now I am working down the other side. Can't wait to wear it. Love the taupe and the soft yarn.

Topaz Tee

1. Not a fan of the yarn, it flattens and separates and the first ball, so far has 4 knots and two shredded sections.
2. When you photograph an item to be made, the whole item should b e featured--not tucked in at the front.

Hello Jane - apologies for the knots in your yarn! Anytime you come across more than 3-4 knots per ball, or sections of the yarn that are frayed or torn, please email our quality control team at [email protected] with the yarn info (including the dye lot) so they can help you out with that issue.
We don't photograph the kit patterns ourselves, but we'll keep this feedback in mind when selecting images for the website.

Topez tee

Made slight variations to pattern. It fits
And looks good. The coboo yarn was a good yarn for this pattern. It gave the tee the right amount of drape.
