Great pattern

I loved making this cardi! It worked up quickly and looks great! The fit is true to size and the pattern is clearly written. I may just have to make another one!

Love this sweater

I just finished this sweater for my sister. My first Cardi but not my last. The pattern is very well written, and the You Tube tutorial is available if you need extra help.I did have to consult it a couple of times for the front panel decrease and the edging, but all turned out well. I used Heartland yarn in the colorway Great Smoky Mountain, and I love that color. It's a heathered gray thay has a slight sheen when worked up. My one suggestion would be that for people with broad shoulders,, you might have to increase the number of V-stitches on the top of the front panels, so it sits on the shoulders better. Also the size of the armholes might need to go up one stitch. Definitely do not skip the steam blocking step, it makes a huge different for the drape. But this is not a criticism, it's just tailoring a pattern as usual. I plan to make two more of these, in Petrified Forest, and another in one of the green shades, haven't decided yet. But I definitely recommend tackling this pattern. Between the written instructions and the You Tube tutorial, you won't be left wondering how do do it.
