Crochet Kit - Timberwood Tank

SKU: B71406

The Timberwood Tank is a full-coverage tank top that looks knitted but is worked up entirely with a crochet hook! It is crocheted in vertical rows, all in one piece, using short rows to shape the bust area while also providing a visually appealing design detail to this otherwise simple fabric.

The simple, yet striking, TimberwoodTank was designed to become your new favourite closet-staple; casual enough to wear lounging at home, yet polished enough to wear at the office. Let’s explore crochet’s most underrated stitch: the slip stitch.

The Perfect Tank

Love everything about this tank! It was love at first sight. I struggled just a bit with the short rows at first but very pleased with the results. Easy pattern to follow with various sizes to choose from. Suggested merino yarn is wonderful to work with. Pattern pictures are really helpful. I'm currently starting on tank #2 while waiting for more merino mushroom to arrive. I think I'll make one in every color. Lion Brand, I love you! Thank you so much for great patterns and exceptional yarn!

Not as easy as it looks

I am relatively new to crochet. I have made one cardigan, several
blankets, bags and baskets, but I found this pattern too confusing and gave up. I downsized my hook to get the gauge. I started it over several times and gave up. I will make something else with the merino which I love to work with.

Hi Susan - we're sorry you had trouble with this pattern! If you'd like help before trying again, please email your questions to [email protected] and we'll be happy to assist.

I can’t wait to get started on this. I love that it looks like it’s knit. I skimmed the pattern so far.
