Love the result

The pattern is fairly well written. Just a few hesitations such as the gage (which needle, which yarn.) and I’m happy with the result. But SO MUCH tucking! Two ends per row. I decided to not do the sleeves nor pockets. Ready to be done! Turned out well. Happy to be finished.

Great Pattern

I never thought I would crochet myself a cardigan but this pattern and yarn worked up beautifully. Highly recommend. The yarns are a great choice together and the pattern is well written. And there is a video by the designer that helps make sure you are following the directions correctly. The photo is before I added the pockets.

Video helped a lot

This was my first attempt at a garment. In the past I have done projects where the gauge was not very important, so the first thing I did was try to make a gauge swatch, but since there are different stitches I wasn’t sure how to pick out the section to make a swatch. My swatch turned out pretty wonky, but I did figure out what I did wrong by watching the video and posting a question to which the creator replied. (Five stars for customer service!). How about some directions for making the swatch?

I’m still working on the project, but so far I really like how it is turning out.

Love Scarfie light! The pattern is easy to understand. The colors changes make little puddles of color. So pretty!
