Boho Cardigan

I love patterns that are constructed all in one piece. The boho cardigan will be a great addition to my spring/fall wardrobe.

I have experience knitting with needles over the span of several years; this is the first time I’ve undertaken a crochet project. However, even though the project is specified as a beginner’s project, I find that some of the instructions are a bit vague. For example, “the beginning ch does not count as a stitch throughout this pattern”. Also, in the instructions the “chain doesn’t count as a stitch” comment is a bit vague. I am not very happy with the result I’m obtaining when trying to join one row with another; I rather feel the pattern gives way to uneven rows. Could you please help me with some advice? Thanks!

Hello Cris - you're welcome to email us at [email protected] with any pattern questions! This project will be worked with a stitch being placed in each stitch in the row below, and you won't be working into the tops of your turning chain. This is different than the straight edge method where the turning chain counts as a stitch and you would skip the stitch directly after the chain.

First Big Project

I purchased this kit a couple of years ago as my first big project after making hats and potholders for a while and wanting a challenge. The pattern was easy to follow as a beginner. I still wear this cardigan to this day and I get compliments on it, too.

The only reason I give it a 2 stars is the fact that you don't give the option to purchase the pattern only
