I followed the pattern for a medium size. It came out way too short for me. I enjoyed making it, but it is ugly and would have had better instruction on making the sweater longer in the body, it bearly reached the ribs below the boobs. the yarn was very rough to work threw the fingers

Hello Debbie - we're sorry this pattern didn't work for you! It does seem like the designer has a taller than usual row gauge, so you may have needed to add rows to reach the same length, even if you were able to match the stitch gauge after blocking. There is an extended length option in the pattern, so following those instructions may have given you the regular length measurement if your row gauge was shorter.
