I'm still working on this so can't comment on the finished product, but it's very clear the sizing is off. I'm making a size small, so it should have been close to 14 inches long when it was time to split the front panel for the V neck, but it was only about 9 inches. I'm adding extra rows to compensate, which is easy enough to do when it's just hdc the whole way across, but I am getting apprehensive about whether I will need to order a fifth ball of yarn.

Hi Maureen,
When you made your gauge swatch were you able to match both stitch and row gauge? It's fairly common to be able to match one but not the other, and row gauge is usually easier to adjust. Keep in mind that as a plant fiber yarn, Coboo will stretch with washing and wear, so make sure that you're measuring your gauge after blocking.
I was pleased with how easy this pattern worked up I to a nice sweater.
I ordered this kit for my mom, who is pretty new to crochet. I taught her how to half-double crochet, which is basically the only stitch this top needs! I’m hoping she’ll love making a project she can wear!
