I absolutely LOVED doing this!! I taught myself to crochet via videos online, and then picked this up about a week later after playing around with some practice yarn. While I will admit my end project has a LOT of shortfalls, I will say that I had a great time doing this and learned SO MUCH! My end result is more a lapghan size (again - newbie learning curve, not the fault of the pattern) and I do love it. I did have issues with this yarn splitting on me, but think someone with more experience would have known how to work with that, and my tension was way too tight. I did have fun playing around towards the end, and making squares with different color combinations. Definitely recommend!

I’ve only done four of the twenty squares but the work up super quickly and the yarn that comes with the kit is soft and easy to work with. The bamboo hooks are fine, they’re not my favorite but everyone has their preferences!
I absolutely love it. Can’t wait to make it and have suggested to another skilled crafter. Please continue to create new projects regarding same.
The colors are gorgeous and the pattern easy. Can't wait to finish. Love Wool Ease Thick and Quick.
