Pattern Designer Info
I am a wife, and mom of two awesome little girls. I have always loved to create, but in different ways. This journey began when I needed a gift for an exchange. I searched everywhere for a hat and scarf set in a shade of blue. Not finding it anywhere I decided to pick up my hook again and I was hooked. (pun intended) It was a hit and I have been creating with yarn ever since. Over the years I have perfected my craft, taking the time to improve my skills and learn new ones. I want to offer the very best of what I do. I also want to inspire others to do the same, which is why I take care to create patterns that you feel good in. There is not much better than being able to say” I made it” with pride. I am happy to offer advice to other makers. When we help each other, we all succeed.

Tricky!

I’ll start off by noting that I did finish this sweater and it is super cute and cozy. That being said, this pattern was quite challenging!! I definitely don’t need my hand held when it comes to patterns but absolutely no photos or further explanations about some of the less intuitive parts really made it quite a challenge. I would classify myself as an intermediate crocheter and this was HARD for me. Not sure if it’s just the size I made (medium) or all the sizes but some of her dimensions were either incorrect or written very confusingly so I ended up doing a lot of counting and math in the initial yoke to make sure my stitch counts would align properly. It could totally just be that I wasn’t understanding exactly what she meant but I think there are some errors in the pattern. If not, then it’s just written in a way that I was not able to interpret correctly! If you’ve made a lot of sweaters it might be easier to get the gist of what she’s saying.
