This dress is designed to be worn with approximately 4 to 8 inches (10–20 cm) of negative ease.

For reference, the model is 5 feet, 4 inches (163 cm) tall with a 34-inch (86-cm) bust and 38-inch (97-cm) hips, wearing a size small with a finished garment bust measurement of 30 inches (76 cm) worn with 4 inches (10 cm) of negative ease in the bust and 8 inches (20 cm) of negative ease at the hips. If you are between sizes, size down.

Pattern is written for smallest size with changes for larger sizes in parentheses. When only one number is given, it applies to all sizes. To follow pattern more easily, circle all numbers pertaining to your size before beginning.
