So, I don’t check my gauge or swatch often (don’t judge me!) but for this one I definitely did. The finished sweater is so beautiful and cozy and you’ll want it in every color of Hue+Me!
This pattern worked up quickly and the yarn is soft and easy to work with. The color - Love Song - does not look like the photo. It is a washed out dusty rose. The pattern for the small/medium called for way too much yarn - and I crocheted it a bit over gauge. I have almost 3 entire skeins left over, which is absurd, and a waste of money.
So far this is an easy pattern to follow ❤️👍🏼. Yarn is squishy and soft ❤️
I just started this sweater and I know I will be making more! I love this pattern. Easy to follow and is crocheting up pretty quickly. The color choices made it hard to choose but I chose Crush and it is beautiful. Only problem…showed my granddaughter and now she wants one….when will I ever learn.
This kit was amazing. Already have worn it so much. My only concern was how big it was? I did the right count and gauge and it still turned out HUGE? Just curious!!
Hi Hallie - this sweater is designed to have some positive ease for a slouchy and oversized fit, with more or less ease depending on the size made and the size of the recipient.
Can’t wait to make this cozy oversized sweater! Love the yarn and designer, so I know it’s going to turn out great!
