This skirt is designed to have a finished width that measures approximately 4 to 6 inches (10 to 15 cm) smaller than the widest circumference of your hips. For reference, the model is 5 feet, 4 inches (163 cm) tall with 38-inch (97-cm) hips, wearing a size medium with a finished skirt width of 34.25 inches (87 cm).

Pattern is written for smallest size with changes for larger sizes in parentheses. When only one number is given, it applies to all sizes. To follow pattern more easily, circle all numbers pertaining to your size before beginning.
