Lovely pattern, not novice friendly

The pattern is beautiful and the cotton yarn crochets up nicely, but I found that the instructions were written more for a more accomplished crocheter. I am pretty certain that I overestimated my abilities :)

I ended up ripping out my stocking quite a bit when I worked on the heel turn. I wish that the pattern had included better directions on how the heel was created or included a photo or diagram of what that part of the stocking looked like as it was being created. The heel was very confusing to me.

Fell in love with this stocking. Cannot wait to work on it. Have done other tapestry crochet projects. This will be new using this technique in a stocking design.
