great project

This worked up beautifully! The yarn colors are perfect for a guy. Took me a few tries to find the "ch3 sp 2 row below" so it looks just like the pic, but is worth the effort to make it perfect. When afghan is viewed from a distance, it is really lovely to see.

Great Yarn/ not great pattern

I really like Vanna's Choice yarn and can't find it in local stores. The yarn works up nice and is soft and warm.

The pattern I received with the kit was hard to follow. Level 2 easy is not the term I would use for it. After trying several times, and I think I eventually got figured it out, it was very loose, not what the picture displays. I chose to use a different pattern. The yarn works great and I really like the colors.
