Great Beginner Cardigan

I’ve only been crocheting for about 2 months and wanted to give a cardigan a try. I already made the waffle stitch blanket by Toni and found her videos helpful so I thought I’d give the Kima Cardigan a shot. I’m so glad I did! Watching her YouTube video while reading the pattern not only made sure my cardigan came out amazing, but it helped me learn how to follow written patterns better after seeing it done in the video. The cardigan is definitely oversized and thick, so it’s perfect to stay cozy in the winter. My friends and family were so impressed I made this!

Love!

I love this kit. The pattern is very easy to follow and the video is very helpful. The cardigan did come out very oversized but I still love it. This was the first time I’ve used the hue+me yarn and it is ok (a little stiff and scratchy) but I think I would like to try this cardigan pattern using 2 strands of coboo yarn next.

Very quick and easy cardi!

I love this cardigan that I’m making 2 now! I made the first one in just 3 days and it’s my favorite thing to wear around the house.

First Cardigan

This was my first Cardigan. It was easier to make than I expected. I will definitely make more and I loved how buying it through a kit took out all the guess-work.

Amazing and easy pattern!

I’m an advanced beginner and took this project on as my first cardigan/sweater. Before purchasing the kit, I watched her make the sweater in her online video which helped tremendously. And the result….It was a huge success! I made my first one with no trouble at all and then made a second where I modified it to sit at the waist. The yarn itself is a little rough but the colour is lovely and they look great. If you’re new to making cardigans, I suggest watching the video first, especially for the assembly. If I can do it, you can too!! Thank you Toni for the wonderful pattern!
