What’s even better is when it’s an easy pattern, like the Kieran Basket. This pattern is worked from the bottom up in the round, with turns that help create some lovely and squishy texture. It’s got tall sides and a wide base for lots of storage and is easy to adjust with colors and more rounds to make it as you’d like.

I’ve been loving hue + me yarn for bags (courtesy of pink plumeria market bag pattern) and look forward to making the Kieran basket for more yarn storage. It’s just the right size for multiple skeins in a circle.
Switching to terra/whisper color combo.
Great basket . Received many compliments on this project. Plan to make more.
i like it but you need to have two skeins of each color. i had to cut a couple rows at the top because i was going to run out. i also did not do it back and forth as it was too clumsy for me to do it that way. i just did rounds. i do like it and think i will use the pattern to make more baskets with different yarns, maybe more heavier and firmer. overall though, i would purchase it again.
The bulky yarn was great to work up in the project. I will buy again and make more. This project will be great to stuff and give as gifts.
