Crochet Kit - Kids Campfire Cardigan

SKU: B71590

Two simple granny hexagons are the foundation of this modern cardigan. You’ll work two identical hexagons first and transform them into the sleeves and chest of your sweater. Have fun customizing this pattern for any specific body using the suggestions included in the pattern. Make a Campfire Cardi for yourself as well using the coordinating adult pattern.

The color theory yarn is very soft, few flaws, and beautiful colors. It's thinner than typical 4-worsted weight so the pattern's size K hook seems awkward. The pattern is not organized or laid out well. The photos are at the end of the pattern instead of being placed with the corresponding stitch/row. There is so much information (good) but it's not where it needs to be so I spend lots of time scrolling up and down through the 40-page pattern. I expected the pattern for a kit with pre-selected colors to indicate color changes despite the designer's intent that the project is "fun and playful experiment in color." Even color 1, 2, 3 etc would be helpful, especially since I purchased the pattern WITH the kit. Instead, more scrolling to decipher color changes in the photos of the finished item. Fortunately, I am making the same size as the model and there are photos of back, front, and underarm; otherwise, I'd have to guess. Sometimes, you just want the same colors as the model. Options for sleeve style and sizing are acceptable; an option to include buttons, especially for children would be a nice addition. I planned on making the adult version. I likely won't.
