A Beautiful Basket

Love this basket! It was quick and easy to make. The pattern was beginner friendly. Love the design. I did end up with extra yarn, but it was not an excessive amount.

Not sturdy

While I live the yarn, it's squishy and oh so soft, it dies not hold up well for the purpose of this basket, even when doubled up. Still searching for the yarn that will hold up for a crochet basket.

Good pattern, good yarn, disappointing kit

I enjoyed working with this yarn and making the basket but I paid twice as much for it as I needed to! I ordered the kit and received 4 6 oz balls of wool ease yarn and a link to download the pattern. I made the basket per the pattern but used only two balls of yarn. Why do the pattern and the kit call for 4? This has caused me to spend twice as much as I needed to in order to make the basket.

Hello Robin - hmm, it's odd that you used only 2 balls of yarn for this pattern. Were you holding the yarn double stranded, as called for in the directions?
