love this blanket, soft and warm and snuggly. I did use the recommended 8 mm hook and the recommended amount of yarn as per pattern, I believe mine is somewhat larger than the listed dimensions, but this is a stretchy type pattern, so it gives a lot. just fine for a larger person!!
