Highland Wrap

I loved the colorway on screen though I found it darker shades in reality. I did get a bit bored with the stitches as it was too easy for my level of experience. I added fpdc and bpdc rows toward the end of the shawl to break the texture up. I like it better with those stitches added. See below.....To each his own.

A great kit and a marvelous shawl!

This is my second kit for this pattern! I just LOVED making the Highlands Wrap in Magic Hour, so I will now make this one in Juniper. The pattern is really well written, Hue & Me is my favorite yarn, the shawl turned out perfectly, and will be warm for the Fall. As this kit is so much fun, this may not be my last one for this pattern!

Lovely project!

I changed the colors of my kit to Agave, with contrasting colors Sea Glass and Desert. I really liked the first two colors, but the Desert color was tanner than I thought it would be. I thought from the pictures that it was more of an off white or cream. The pattern itself was easy to follow and worked up quickly. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Nice yarn

I really like the chunky yarn but I was sort of disappointed in the colors because it looked to me to be black gray and white but it turned out to be black sort of brownish and then sort of in tannish and I was kind of disappointed in that.
