Just over a year ago, we moved up to God's country where the winters can be really long. I needed something to do to pass the time and keep me warm, crocheting was just that "thing"! I found that making blankets for wedding gifts, also helped to keep me warm during the day.

I've never crocheted clothing and this looked simple enough. I wish the pattern had more step by step pictures or a link to a video so that I could have a visual. Rows 3 and 4 were confusing to me and a video would've helped tremendously. I'm working on the first panel now and basically doing what I think looks right in the absence of visuals (basically just doing row 4 over and over). I think it'll work out though. We shall see...

I purchased this as a kit. This pattern is well written and works up fast. The 24/7 DK yarn is lovely and the top looks great.
