Crochet Kit - Family Circle Baby Blanket

SKU: B71973

Each square of this sample was crocheted lovingly while caring for my baby, so a name reflecting that experience only seemed fitting. Each of these adorable squares is worked individually, making it an ideal on-the-go project. Crochet 25 granny squares at your own pace to create a cheerful heirloom baby blanket or as many squares as needed to reach your desired size.

Enjoyable project! Lots of ends to sew in.

Making this for my friend's nephew! I made this with another friend and we split up the making-of-the-circles, then I squared them off, and then seamed the blanket.

It was really helpful to make this with a friend! Making all those circles would have been a lot of work.

The blanket was great to make. The instructions were very explicit and easy to follow. HOWEVER. This blanket was a painnnn when it came to sewing in ends. I carried one of the ends when squaring off the circles, but still, each square had at least 3 ends to sew in (when you carried the start of square end) plus all the ends when it comes to seaming.

Seaming was easy and pretty relaxing. I seamed the blanket in horizontal rows, then went back and sewed the vertical seams.
