Really cute sweater!

It was very helpful that Life & Yarn also has videos to go with this - sometimes it helps to see it in action - as well as the drawn diagram of stitch placement for the two more complicated cables. It has been several years since I did anything in cables, but this pattern looked (and IS) not that hard to do, but looks great. I'm only part of the way finished, so no photo. I didn't use the Re-Spun that I purchased with the kit, I couldn't get the gauge to work for me, so will use it for something else. Great price though!

Re Spun

I went for the kit for crocheted cable sweater with respun, I liked the idea of making yarn out of plastic bottles. In reality, the yarn had white fuz balls and doesn't hold up to a true worstead. there were several knots thought the skein, obviously pieced together fibers. Now for the pattern that I could download but not print. I had to have customer service mail me the pattern.
In reading through the pattern there is a full section that states what directions are not in the instructions, That did not make sense to have to flip bak and forth. Never used a pattern like that before. The instructions are confusing and make the stitches much more difficult than they have to be. I gave up, set it aside and will look for an expert second opinion. Bad idea to have bought this kit,

I have yet to tackle the sweater. The yarn looks and feels great. It is very soft.
