Nice summer shirt, but definitely size up!

The pattern was easy to follow, and it was repetitive enough to memorize quickly but varied enough to not get boring. The yarn felt stiff and almost sticky, and I didn't much enjoy working with it, but it's much softer after washing and the shirt feels very comfortable. My main criticism is that the sizing seems significantly off, and it takes a few full rows to have a good sense of how long the finished product will actually be. I ultimately sized up twice, and then I also added a few rows of blo hdc at the bottom to eek out a little more length.

I recommend sizing up...

The pattern is very well written and extremely easy to follow. Once you get the first few rows under your belt, you can get i to a good groove with the repeats. Seaming instructions are also easy. Im knocking off a star just from the recommended yarn. Worked up, the shirt feels heavy and bulky and stiff. I steam blocked before Seaming but may also try to steam while on a hanger to give more length and maybe to try to help it relax more. Also, recommend sizing up just for length like the model. I do love the colors, though!

Can't wait to get to the wearing stage...counting on the drape. Yarn has a great feel and easy to work with. Be sure you use the center pull function when you begin the project. If a clump comes out, straighten it immediately. Other wise you may spend hours detangling. I used a lot of markers to keep me on track with the stitch count initially, a lot of tiny stitches. Will post a picture when I finish.

Beautiful yarn but not enough yarn for project

Love the yarn! However, I didn’t receive enough to complete the top :(
Easy to follow instructions.

I have just started on this project. I have never worked with this type of yarn before but so far it’s been ok. The yarn itself is just beautiful.

Nice, breezy, colorful shirt

The pattern is fairly well written - it took me a few times to figure out how to manage that last repeat (as it's a partial repeat). Also, the row count seemed to be off by one, but I figured it out.

Overall, this looks great and is super flattering. The yarn is not my favorite to work with, but it looks great and is very easy care once you're done with it!
