Crochet Kit - Body Language Cardigan

This is a sister pattern to the Body Language Sweater– a cardigan made with Lion Brand Feels Like Butta using a ribbed stitch pattern to produce a beautifully textured layering piece. Most of this cardigan is comprised of the half double crochet stitch worked in the back loops only, while the bottom hem, sleeve cuffs, collar, and part of the pocket use the regular half double crochet stitch for contrast. This cardigan is worked in simple, back-and-forth rows, while using vertical and horizontal lines to bring visual interest. Finishing touches such as the collar and front pockets are included in this design to bring a comfortable, casual feel to this design.

I ordered this pattern as part of a kit with the yarn included at a discounted rate. The cardigan turned out fantastic! The yarn is great to work with, all of it was the same dye lot, and I didn’t have issues with excessive knots. I also adjusted the pattern slightly and still had enough yarn to finish, even though I added a few rows here and there. It’s warm and fits perfectly. Can’t wait to get another kit from Lion Brand!
I love that I can purchase everything needed for a project with just one click! The pattern, the yarn needed (in the correct amount) and any other items that may be needed - it is so quick and easy. It is tough for me to sometimes figure out all the details on my own, so the kit bundles are perfect for me. I am addicted to Lion Brand Yarn kits!!
I am so pleased with how my sweater turned out even though I had never made a clothing item before! The instructions were incredibly clear and the yarn makes such a cozy finished product.
